We had a good time at the Carnegie Science Center. Nina especially liked the exhibit where you stand against the wall and the light flashes and then you can see your silhouette on the wall for a few seconds.

We brought the Children's School quilt to the PDL machine room so that Mom could photograph it. While we were there we couldn't resist running through the big computer.

Nina walked to the bus stop with Maya and Shane for the first day of school. But it will be a few years before she gets to ride the bus to school. She enjoyed visiting Shane and Maya's school for back to school night.

Nina likes to bring books for Kota's mom to read while Maya plays soccer. Sometimes Nina helps out by fetching the ball when the soccer players kick it out of bounds.

We carved our pumpkins on Halloween. Nina picked out a white pumpkin. She asked Dad to make a nose that looked like her nose and a missing tooth to match her missing tooth. She dressed up as Minnie Mouse.

We went on the Mr. Roger's Neighborhood tour at WQED. We met Mr. McFeely and got his autograph. Nina was impressed that he is "a real person."
